Fire and Ice Feast Benefiting the Buffalo Gap, Jim Ned, Lawn, and Moro Volunteer Fire Departments!

Thank you for your support of last year’s successful event.  The 10th Annual Fire and Ice Feast will be held Superbowl Weekend, February 2nd and 3rd, 2019, in Buffalo Gap and is a fundraiser for the South Taylor County Volunteer Fire Departments consisting of Lawn, Tuscola, Jim Ned and Moro.  The Fire and Ice Feast has raised over $373,000 to benefit the Fire Departments!

As you know, so many of our Big Country Communities depend on the services the Fire Departments provide, not only fire response, but medical response as well.  The Volunteer Fire Departments have very limited funding and rely on donations to keep their services available.

Fire and Ice Feast is by invitation only. The exciting thing is you can make a donation at the gate to receive your invitation.  Thirty cooking teams, consisting of 5 members, will provide wild game or store bought products to serve the public during Sunday’s Feast. The gates will open at 11 a.m. to allow attendees to walk around to visit with all of the cook teams and view all auction items. Cook teams will start serving at 11:30 a.m. and will continue serving until 1:30 p.m. At that time the live auction will begin! Attendees will have a chance to visit each cook site and will be given sample size portions to taste.

The success of the event will come from donations and dollars raised through Sponsorships and Auction.  If you would like to help ensure Fire and Ice Feast has another successful year please contact Tracy Martin at 325-665-6970 or email her at tracy.martin@thebrileygroup.com. All help is greatly appreciated! We can't wait to see you there!!
